A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR
Greetings TLC Families,
It is with great excitement that I accept the position as Center Director of Tylertown Learning Center! I am very grateful that the opportunity presented itself when it did. It was a time of needed change for me and after some praying on the matter, I came across the job opening and reached out. For me it was definitely God intervening and placing me where I needed to be.
I have had a passion for Early Childhood Education since 2001 when I started as a toddler teacher. Most of my classroom experience was between toddlers and older pre-k kids. After I finished my degree I switched to the administration side and have worked on this side for the past 9 years. I love being able to help the families, kids and staff.
I have had the opportunity to work with some great Directors and Assistant Directors over the past 11 years to help build my knowledge in administration.
One thing to know about me is I am here for you, your children and my staff. I want my parents to feel/know they are dropping their children off in a safe and secure environment. I want the children to have a safe place to come with loving teachers who teach and provide for them daily. I want the staff to know they have someone they can come to for help and encouragement at any time.
Philippians 4:13 “I can endure all these things through the power of the one who gives me strength.”
Sincerely,
Sabrina Carter
