Curriculum
Tylertown Learning Center takes pride in supporting each student in their development from introductory to mastery level. As early as six weeks old the children will begin to learn shapes, colors, numbers and opposites. Teachers will use the faith based Wee Learn Curriculum as a teaching guide that will also implement biblical values. Creeper and toddler teachers will also use the popular book Baby Signs to teach some of our youngest learner’s sign language, enhancing their language and communication skills. Children ages two years old to four years old will participate in seven learning centers including, Art, Music, Blocks, Homeliving, Nature, Game/Puzzles, and Books. While playing in these seven centers the children will attain knowledge, skill and understanding. All of our teaching methods connect greatly with our learning through play approach, inspired by the philosophy of Preschool Director Ruth Laurent. Using her book, For the Love of Preschoolers, as a teaching guide and manual for the classroom environment, we ensure an inviting, home-like, preschool friendly learning experience. - Kuddly Koalas: 6wks- 1 yr.
- Cuddle Bugs: 6wks- 1 yr.
- Little Ducklings: 1-1.5 Yr Olds
- Busy Bees: 1.5-2.5 Yr Olds
- Barnyard Buddies: 2.5- 3.5 Yr Olds
- Forest Friends: Younger Pre-K
- Bright Beginners: Older Pre-K
